As flores (brancas) e os frutos (preto arroxeado) são usados contra resfriados, sinusite e para eliminação de catarro e, a casca, para artrite. Contra febres, como analgésico para dores em geral, como estimulante da sudoreses, sarampo e catapora, é indicado o chá de suas flores secas: PREPARO DO CHÁ DA FLOR DE SABUGUEIRO 1 xícara de chá de água fervente 1 colher de sobremesa de flores picadas Adicione as flores picadas na água fervente, deixe abafando por 5 a 10 minutos, tome em seguida. Tem dias que não tem jeito, o jeito é se entregar ao fluxo do caos... ainda mais quando a filhota de 1 ano e 10 meses está em um dia de muita agitação e exigindo atenção... quarentena né môres, intensifica todos os processos.

Comecei o almoço 12h e fui comer de fato 14:45h.

E por falar em comida... rolou um omelete com shimeji e vegetais, milho cozido e saladinha... ela estava tudo, menos gororoba.

Sem medo de comer comida de verdade, okeyyyyy!? 😉

ayurveda Been getting stuck in some old patterns this week.  Sometimes when things are difficult we can fall back into old habits and ways of thinking, accepting lower frequencies and removing ourselves from a flow state.⠀

My partner extended this invitation and  provided this wise insight to me and I wanted to share it to anyone who might also need to hear it. ⠀

What if we make this situation our ally, instead of our enemy. Then we can work with it instead of constantly going up against it because that’s very hard on the mind, and the body. A lot of us have made it our way, to power through and work from resistance while trying to move mountains with our mind muscle. Trying to get around it or trying to force ourselves and our ideas or solutions onto our reality because we have done it in the past and we think it has worked for us. But this is a very tiring, and inefficient process. ⠀

⠀
Once we remind ourselves to make an effort to accept a situation that is uncomfortable to us, real opportunity arises. And by accepting or becoming friends with a situation, it doesn’t mean that you agree with everything that’s going on, or that you conform to it’s ideas and principles. It simply means you are recognizing your own ability that you can - and will - find your freedom within it. ⠀

.⠀
⠀
All of this will bring the power back to ourselves during challenging situations. Instead of us feeling like we’re hailing water on a boat we will experience fresh wind inside our sails. And all of a sudden things aren’t so bad, because we can look out with trust. We see land. And even if we don’t, we know it’ll show up right there on the horizon in a matter of time. We never lose anything when we gain perspective. And by living this way we set ourselves up for great adventures.

Often people ask if I can give the same medicine for the same complaint to my cousin/mom? This is not possible for ayurvedic medicines. 
Each person has its own constitution so one medicine or diet which cures a disease in a person maybe a causative factor for another!

Treatment protocol should be decided based on disease, and mainly the DISEASED- After doing dashavidha pariksha only a disease is diagnosed and treated!

Dosha é a caracterização do perfil biológico do indivíduo, de acordo com o ayurveda.

Existem três doshas: Vata, Pitta e Kapha, sendo que cada um apresenta suas determinadas características.

Todas as pessoas possuem os três doshas, mas em proporções variadas.

Eventualmente, há excesso ou carência de um dos três doshas, o que constitui um desequilíbrio, que pode originar uma doença.

Mas, não necessariamente você terá o desequilíbrio do seu dosha. Vou dar um exemplo: eu sou kapha mas no momento estou com desequilíbrio no Vata.

O ayurveda restabelece o equilíbio original dos doshas da pessoa por meio de dietas, exercícios físicos, uso de plantas medicinais, meditação, yoga e massagem.

In addition to helping with your fitness, having strong glutes is incredibly important for your knees and lower back. The glutes (specifically the gluteus maximus) are the largest muscles in the body and, for one reason, that is to balance the whole set below and above it.

Unfortunately, people often look at where the problem is and not what is causing the problem. So, instead of working on the buttocks, people can seek to treat the lower back or knees directly, and even go so far as to resort to surgery. Building strength and mobility in your buttocks does not guarantee that you will not suffer injuries to your lower back or knees, but it does help to significantly reduce the risk of injury and addresses the root causes of those injuries (a lack of strength and mobility).

Your glutes and core work synergistically to support your spine. The core is the muscle group antagonistic to your lumbar paraspinal (erector of the spine), which are the muscles located on both sides of the spine. If you don't have core strength or adequate gluteal strength, it's a double hit to your lower back. This means that when you do an exercise that should use your hips, core and lower back (any movement that involves a squat or hinge - such as a squat, deadlift or chair pose), the lower back will be forced to do all the work. Enseñanzas del Mahavatar Babaji y Mataji Shaktiananda
Conversación con Swami Shivananda. 
Asumiendo la noción de la sabiduría milenaria, en la cual todo verdadero iniciado en el camino del alma se convierte en un guerrero de su propia batalla interna, entre su luz y su oscuridad, podemos comprender que cuando el despertar de la conciencia sucede, tiene lugar una rebelión, una revuelta contra el dominio del ego, de la sombra y del dolor que habitan en el alma, limitándola en su inevitable sendero de ascensión.

Cada ser despierto se rebela ante sus propias sombras para combatir y triunfar, y así debería ser también para el colectivo humano, que habita un planeta adormecido, que ha sucumbido a una inercia involutiva que lo ha hecho olvidar su propósito evolutivo.

Vivimos un momento donde se requiere mucho más de nosotros, donde se pide desde las Esferas de Luz una respuesta contundente para poder seguir el camino trazado, para resplandecer en nuestro potencial de amor, revelado hace milenios y nunca tan olvidado como ahora.

Quando falamos de alimentação e Ayurveda a regra primária é: observe a sua fome! Quando observamos, percebemos nossa fome e o funcionamento do organismo, fica mais fácil saber quando e quanto devemos comer! Cada pessoa funcionará de forma diferente! .

O que comemos é o que nutrirá nosso corpo. Se estivermos alinhados e em sintonia com nosso corpo e com a natureza, nosso organismo pedirá os alimentos e a quantidade correta levando em consideração a estação do ano, a hora do dia, o nosso agni (fogo digestivo) e as nossas reais necessidades. .

I will always remember this place. One month, every day shanting mantras all around the ashram before sadhana, doing sadhana (morning yoga) every day before sunrise, meditating every day before breakfast time. .
In this place they live in the agnihotra atmosphere, performing all the fires of homa therapy every day since many years.

In this picture we were doing a Lakshmi Puja, it was a full moon day.
Offering light and love to the fire, troughout the power of mantras. 
Fire is a powerfull element that has the power of purify and transmutate.

This are thechniques that comes from the Vedic sciences like Yoga, Ayurveda, Agnihotra, etc practiced by Rishis, are techniques which create harmony between our Mind, Body and Spirit.

ayurveda hey y’all, i fell asleep and took a nap (on accident) and while naps are amazing, i have things to do!! kapha is running wild today in NY and i wanted to share a quick and easy trick to get things MOVING! if you are experiencing heaviness, exhaustion, lack of motivation, ETC (and you have already gotten a good nights rest!) dry brushing stimulates movement in the lymphatic and nervous systems, is great for the skin and and just feels GOOD! you can also add a few drops of essential oil to get the olfactory system involved! if you are experiencing heaviness AND anxiety, i would recommend a good oil massage of the feet (hell yeah) after dry brushing to keep you nice and connected to the earth while also stimulating movement

remember, while you experience imbalances, YOU ARE NOT YOUR IMBALANCES! you are perfect and with awareness we invite shifting and this experience will always pass <3
